Spinal Cord Injury Management (POA) - 4 hour course
Spinal Cord Injury Management Group Training
We deliver Spinal Cord Injury Management training for groups in our Sydney Training Centre or we can come to you and provide in house training at your location. Group bookings require a minimum of 10 people but if you're just short of that number then please call us as we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
Who should undertake this Qualification?
This course covers the use and administration of spinal management in an emergency. If your workplace has either of this equipment then people must be certified to operate it. Job roles associated with this qualification include:

Spinal Cord Injury Management Course Details
This is a 4 hour face to face course and the certificate is valid for 1 year.
A current Senior or Apply First Aid HLTFA301B or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTCPR201A must be supplied upon enrolment.
All students are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessment including the multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training. If a competent mark is not scored, the student will have to pay a re-assessment fee of $50.
Students must be 16 years old on the day of course completion. Students to provide a pen, note pad, large towel and wear comfortable clothing. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office.

Spinal Cord Injury Management Certification
On completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in Spinal Management valid for one (1) year, which states ‘in partial completion of Apply Advanced First Aid HLTFA402B’. In partial completion of the Apply Advanced First Aid HLTFA402B Unit of Competency and from the Health Training 2007 Package (HLT07).
