Marine First Aid Training (ISAF YA Accredited Training) $300 - Sydney, Brisbane

Duration

Face to Face delivery and assessment from 8am to 6:30pm.

Maximum Students

12 Students per course maximum.

Course Material

We provide the course notes, manual and examination papers. Student to provide a pen, note pad, lunch (or shops nearby), sun protection and warm clothing.

Assessment

All participants are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessments. The theory assessment includes a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training.

Racing Yachtsmen

Your attention is drawn to the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 I refer to Rule 4.07.5 which states “At least two members of the crew Cat 1 and one member of the crew Cat 2 shall hold a Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent .Each of these crew members shall have undertaken the training required by SR 6.01”

To meet the 2009-2012 YA RRS requirements, holders of the First Aid qualification must also hold a Certificate of Competence Safety and Sea Survival as from July 1 2009.

Accreditation

ISAF (YA) RRS Special Regulation 4.07 (2009-2012), Requirements of Coxswain and Master 5 TDM MF10 01A, Requirements of STCW95 A-V1/1-3, Workcover Accredited (ANTA 3224518).

Certificates

On completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in 10 working days.
