Defibrillator Training Course $80 - 3 hour courseThis course covers the use and administration of defibrillation in an emergency. If your workplace has either of this equipment then people must be certified to operate it. Group TrainingWe deliver training for groups in our Sydney Training Centre or we can come to you and provide in house training at your location. Group bookings require a minimum of 10 people but if you're just short of that number then please call us as we’ll do our best to meet your needs. Course DetailsA current Senior First Aid or Apply First Aid HLTFA301B, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTCPR201A or Provide Emergency Life Support HLTFA201A certificate must be supplied upon enrolment. Students need to complete a pre-study workbook either online or in hardcopy before attending the course. All students are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessment including the pre-study workbook and a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training. If a competent mark is not scored, the student will have to pay a re-assessment fee of $50. Students must be 14 years old on the day of course completion. Students to provide a pen and note pad and wear comfortable clothing. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office. Pre-Study Online Training OptionOnline training takes approx 2 hours. Once enrolled the student will receive a login, password and web link via email for the online component to be completed prior to the course date. You will require a computer, internet connection, speakers (or ear phones) and Flash 7. Pre-Study Hard Copy Workbook Training OptionOnce enrolled the participant receives their workbook and training manual to be completed prior to the course date. CertificationOn completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in Defibrillation valid for one (1) year, in partial completion of the Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques HLTFA404A. This course is in partial completion of the Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques HLTFA404A Unit of Competency and from the Health Training 2007 Package (HLT07).
