Who should undertake this Qualification?
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work in a range of support positions in human resources management. In smaller companies they may work across all human resources functional areas and in larger companies they may be assigned responsibilities in units or business areas focussed on discrete human resources functions, such as remuneration, workforce planning or human resources information systems.

Cert IV Human Resources Distance Learning
This method of course delivery allows participants to undertake the course at their own pace from any location (e.g. from home, work).
Distance learning can present a range of difficulties to learners and the following personal skills should be considered before enrolling into any distance learning course:
- Your ability to study from home without structured classroom sessions
- Your time management skills and commitment to self study/self motivation
- Your access to a computer and internet connection
- Your computer skills and ability to communicate with your course facilitator through an online forum
- Your language, literacy and numeracy skills to read, interpret course information and complete assessments
Once enrolled and payment received, participants are provided with a login, password and web link via email for access to the online training page. The online training page will provide students with all the course instructions, course information, learning material, assessment tasks, templates, case scenarios and online support with facilitators.
This course can be completed over the period of 12 months. Approximately 6hrs/week should be allocated to study time.
Cert IV Human Resources Pre-Requisites
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Pathways into this Qualification
Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
- BSB30107 Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualification/s; or
- With vocational experience in assisting human resources team leaders, supervisors or managers in their work but without formal human resource qualifications.

This course has 10 units of competency with assessments that must be completed to achieve competency.

Cert IV Human Resources Payments
We offer the following payment options to students:
Distance Learning Option 1: Initial deposit of $990 paid upfront, all learning material will be posted to you once enrolled into the course. Final payment of $400 to be made before the holistic interview is conducted.
Option 2: Apply for Australia Apprenticeship Funding (only available to students who are currently employed. See student info for further information).
NOTE: When you have completed your course, no certificates are issued until the full amount has been paid.

Cert IV Human Resources Certification
Once a competent mark is issued for all 9 units, you will be issued with a BSB41007 Certificate IV in Human Resources certificate. This qualification is an Australian Qualification Framework accredited course and Nationally Recognised Training from the Business Services Training Package (2007 version 3).
