Apply First Aid Group Training and Booking Information

Group Training

We deliver national Apply First Aid training for groups either at our Sydney Training Centre or we can come to you and provide in house training at your location, whereever you may be. Group training bookings require a minimum of 10 people but if you're just short of that number then please call us as we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Course Details

This course is nationally recognised accredited training, it used to be called Senior First Aid or Level II First Aid but it is now called Apply First Aid.

For the Apply First Aid course, any student who does NOT have a current certificate will need to complete the online or hardcopy pre-study workbook before attending the one day face to face training course. Students who do not complete the pre-study requirements will not receive a certificate until evidence of completion has been supplied to our office.

Students who have a current certificate do not need to complete the pre-study requirements.

To be assessed as competent in this course, all students are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessment, complete any the pre-study requirements and a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the face to face training. If a competent mark is not scored, the student will have to pay a re-assessment fee of $50.

Students to provide a pen and note pad and wear comfortable clothing. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office.

Apply First Aid Group Pre-Study Online Training Option

Online training takes approx 2 hours. Once enrolled the student will receive a login, password and web link via email for the online component to be completed prior to the course date. You will require a computer, internet connection, speakers (or ear phones) and Flash 7.

Apply First Aid Group Pre-Study Hard Copy Workbook Training Option

Once enrolled the student receives their workbook and training manual by post and is to be completed prior to the face to face training course date.

Apply First Aid Certification

On completion of this course, students will receive a certificate in Apply First Aid HLTFA301B valid for three (3) years. Included in this training is the VET accredited course Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTFA201A from the Health Training Package. This course (previously known as Senior First Aid or Level II) is Australian Qualification Framework accredited and Nationally Recognised Training. HLTFA 301B Apply First Aid Unit of Competency from the Health Training 2007 Package.
