Advanced CLS Training - Initial $140 / Refresher $120 - 1 day course

This course covers the use and administration of oxygen and defibrillation in an emergency. If your workplace has either of this equipment then people must be certified to operate it.

Group Training

We deliver training for groups in our Sydney Training Centre or we can come to you and provide in house training at your location. Group bookings require a minimum of 10 people but if you're just short of that number then please call us as we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Course Details

Either a current Senior or Apply First Aid HLTFA301B, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTCPR201A or Provide Emergency Life Support HLTFA201A certificate must be supplied upon enrolment.

To receive a discounted 'refresher rate' a validated copy of your current certificate must be supplied to enrol into this course and must be produced before training has commenced.

Student to complete an online or hardcopy pre-study workbook before attending the course. Students who do not complete the workbook will not be able to participate in the training or assessment and forfeit their enrolment fee.

All students are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessments including the pre-study workbook and a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training. If a competent mark is not scored, the student will have to pay a re-assessment fee of $50.

Students must be 14 years old on the day of course completion. Students to provide a pen and note pad and wear comfortable clothing. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office.

Pre-Study Online Training Option

Online training takes approx 2 hours. Once enrolled the student will receive a login, password and web link via email for the online component to be completed prior to the course date.

You will require a computer, internet connection, speakers (or ear phones) and Flash 7.

Pre-Study Hard Copy Workbook Training Option

Once enrolled the student receives their workbook and training manual to be completed prior to the course date.

Certification

On completion of this course, students will receive a certificate in Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques - HLTFA404A valid for one (1) year. This course is HLTFA404A Unit of Competency. Australian Qualification Framework accredited, Nationally Recognised Training and from the Health Training 2007 Package (HLT07).
