All of Training Aid Australia's staff are qualified with a minimum requirement of - Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue), a Senior First Aid certificate and have signed a NSW Child Protection (prohibited employment) Act form.

All of Training Aid Australia's staff have been approved by the Working with Children background check through the NSW Sports and Recreation department.

Council or Surf Life Saving Lifeguards will be present at all bookings. Training Aid Australia will provide lifeguards on a ratio of 1:10 for children participating in water activities.

Training Aid Australia will supply a first aid kit at all bookings.

Course Objective:
The custom course is designed by you. You can choose the location, the length of the booking, how many bookings you would like to have throughout the summer season and what course content you would like your students to learn about.

Course Content:
The course topics that you may select from are:
Beach awareness
Surf awareness
Surf analysis
Beach activities
Water activities
Introduction to water rescues
Introduction to resuscitation
Resuscitation scenarios
Introduction to first aid
First aid scenarios
Body surfing training
Board paddling training
Surf sports competition training

We recommend that you select a maximum of 4-5 activities per 4 hour program.

Candidates receive a certificate of attendance.

These programs are developed for students who already have an awareness, involvement and understanding of the Surf environment. The objective of these programs is to develop the student's skills to a much higher level of skill.

Level 1 (beginner):
Rip identification, surf assessment, body surfing introduction, board paddling introduction, paddling assessment, technique development.

Course Duration - 2hrs

Candidates receive a certificate of attendance.

Level 2 (intermediate):
Entering and exiting a rip swimming or on a paddle board, wave zone skill development for body surfing and board paddling and competition skills development for body surfing and board paddling.

Course Duration - 1.5 hrs

Candidates receive a certificate of attendance.

Level 3 (advanced):
Total competition based training to develop a group or an individuals skills in any aquatic surf sports disciplines (swimming, board paddling, ski paddling or Ironman training).
