In partial completion of the Apply Advanced First Aid – HLTFA402B Unit of Competency and from the Health Training 2007 Package (HLT07).
This unit covers the competency required to provide spinal management to a casualty in an emergency situation until the emergency services arrive.

Face to Face: 4 hour course.
Face to face training which comprises of theory and practical training with assessment. |
| Pre-requisites: |
A current Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid or CPR certificate and 16 years old on day of course completion. |

| Assesment: |
All participants are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessments. The theory assessment includes the workbook.

| Outcome: |
On completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in Spinal Management valid for one (1) year, which states ‘in partial completion of Apply Advanced First Aid – HLTFA402B’. |
