Prize Details Swim categories approx. 11am start All FINA approved fast skins may be worn for the swim event (If it sinks it’s approved) but no wetsuits are allowed. The course for the East Coast Ocean Classic is set between the headlands of Bondi Beach. The course is designed to allow the race director to decide which way the circuit will be completed after consideration of the swell and wind direction. On the day of the event the direction of course will be announced by the race director to the competitors at the race briefing which is at 1045hrs. The course circuit is 1.8km in length with the start and finish at Bondi Beach. All competitors must go around the designated course on the correct side of the buoys or they will be disqualified from the race.
