Course accreditation:
In partial completion of the Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques – HLTFA404A Unit of Competency and from the Health Training 2007 Package (HLT07).
Price for group bookings:

Initial and Update Certification - $80
Re-assessment fee - $50 (if not passed as competent)

Receipt for training will be supplied at the course. If an invoice is required please contact Training Aid Australia’s head office.

Initial certificate:
Face to Face: 3 hour course with Pre-study workbook.
Student to complete online or hardcopy pre study workbook before attending the 3hr face to face training which comprises of theory and practical training with assessment.
Update certificate:
A validated copy of your current certificate must be supplied to enroll into this course. We require that the certificate is produced before training is commenced.
Pre-study workbook:

Online Training: Approx study time 2 hours.
Once enrolled the participant receives a login, password and web link via email for the online component to be completed prior to the face to face course assessment date.

Please Note: The pre-study component must be completed before face to face training or assessment can be completed. Students who do not complete the workbook will not be able to participate in the face to face training or assessment and forfeit their enrolment fee.

Pre-requisites:
A current Senior First Aid or Apply First Aid HLTFA301B, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTCPR201A or Provide Emergency Life Support HLTFA201A certificate must be supplied upon enrolment.

Onsite Bookings - 8 participants
Course materials we provide:
Manual, information sheets, test papers and resources for practical training.
Student to provide:
Pen and note pad and wear comfortable clothing.
Requirements for online training:
Internet connection, speakers (or ear phones), Flash 7.

Assessment:
All participants are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessments. The theory assessment includes the pre-study workbook and a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training.
Outcome:
On completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in Defibrillation valid for one (1) year, in partial completion of the Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques – HLTFA404A.
