Update Certification:
2hrs for update certificate. This course comprises of theory and practical training.

Required Numbers:
Public courses - 6 participants.
Onsite training - 10 participants.

Pre-requisites:
Participant must have a current CPR or Apply First Aid certificate that is valid on the day of training. Participant must be 14 years old on the day of course completion.

Course Materials:
Provided - information sheets, resources for practical training.
Student - pen and note pad.

Course Training:
> Legal issues in First Aid	> The chain of survival
> Hygiene in First Aid	> Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
> Patient assessment	> Managing of patient after CPR

All participants are assessed in their practical demonstrations and must complete the multiple choice test. On completion of this course participants will receive a certificate valid for one year.
