Face to Face: 2 day course with Pre-study workbook.
Student to complete online or hardcopy pre study workbook before attending the 2 day face to face training which comprises of theory and practical training with assessment. |
| Pre-study workbook: |
Online Training: Approx study time 2 hours.
Once enrolled the participant receives a login, password and web link via email for the online component to be completed prior to the face to face course assessment date. The online workbook also includes practical tutorials which all participants are required to study.
NOTE: The pre-study component must be completed before face to face training or assessment can be completed. Participants who do not complete the workbook will not be able to participate in the face to face training or assessment and forfeit their enrolment fee.

| Assessment: |
All participants are required to competently complete the practical and theory assessments. The theory assessment includes the pre-study workbook and a multiple choice theory paper at the end of the training. |
| Outcome: |
On completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate in Apply Advanced First Aid – HLTFA402B valid for three (3) years. Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques must be updated annually for the certificate to remain valid. |
